The International Summer School on Banking & Capital Markets Law, III edition, wants to promote debate and dialogue between young researchers and professionals in relation to issues concerning regulation and supervision of financial institutions and financial markets. Participants will have the opportunity to work together with senior academics, policy-makers and practitioners on the most recent topics, such as: FinTech, Corporate Governance of financial institutions, European Banking Union, Capital Markets Union, MiFID II, Market Abuse Regulation, Brexit, with a special focus on Sustainable Finance this year.
The aim of the Summer School is to provide junior researchers and young professionals in the field with mentoring as well as with exposure to cutting-edge research in banking and capital markets law. Participants will have the opportunity to present their own research projects (both completed papers and work-in-progress) and to discuss them with leading researchers. These presentations will be key components of the Summer School: participants will be invited to give concise presentations of their work, followed by an in-depth discussion of each contribution among participants and senior scholars.
PhD researchers, post-docs, junior faculty members and young professionals.
